Course description

The full FPV course is a three-part program designed for those who want not only to understand how unmanned aircraft work, but also to practically build and fly their own FPV drone. The course covers theoretical knowledge, hands-on drone assembly, and real flight training.

Learning path

1.

FPV drone anatomy

You'll understand drone systems, components, and how they work.

2.

Drone assembly and configuration

You'll build a professional 7-inch FPV drone with your own hands.

3.

Practical flights

You'll train in real flights in the hangar and outdoors

A1/A3

Preparation for the official A1/A3 theory exam - anyone who wants to can obtain the official licence. On completion, a Drone Training School certificate is issued.

Course modules

1.

FPV anatomy module

Module duration: 12 hrs

An introductory course for those who want to understand how FPV drones work and prepare for safe, precise piloting.

  • During training you'll dive into the drone's components – motors, batteries, control and video transmission systems, and radio link control.

  • You'll be introduced to TKA legal regulations and preparation for the A1/A3 category licence exam.

  • The course includes hands-on sessions with the Liftoff simulator, which helps build coordination and reaction in a virtual environment. Mastering control mechanics – the interplay of fingers and brain – before your first real FPV flight.

2.

FPV drone assembly module

Module duration: 18 hrs

This is an intensive course during which each participant independently builds a professional 7-inch FPV drone.

  • During training, you'll build an FPV drone. Work takes place in a modern soldering classroom, using professional equipment under instructor supervision.

  • With the instructor's help, you'll configure the drone. During configuration the drone becomes a fully ready-to-use unmanned aircraft.

The skills gained here are valuable not only in civilian life but also in crisis or wartime contexts – where being able to quickly prepare or update unmanned devices matters. By the end of the course, participants take home not just a working drone, but also the technical knowledge needed to prepare and maintain drones on their own.

The drone you build during the course is yours to keep! (Worth €500)

3.

FPV flying module

Module duration: 32 hrs

Real first-flight experience in a controlled environment.

  • In the first stage, participants build flight skills flying small Whoop-type drones in an enclosed hangar space, where obstacles let you safely master manoeuvrability, speed control, and reaction.

  • In the second stage, participants not only test the capabilities of the drones they built, but also learn the specifics of flying them in open spaces.

Working in small groups means maximum attention for each participant, so skills develop quickly and precisely.

Practical details

Do I need prior experience with drones?

No. The program is built from scratch — starting with the basics. Even participants who have never held a controller successfully complete the whole program — the module sequence leads from the simulator to a real outdoor flight. Experience with commercial or racing drones doesn't replace FPV training — it's a separate discipline.
